As lifelong Westlife fans, Clare and John were delighted to see the band live at the 3Arena in Dublin in September.

They made a night of it with an overnight stay in Dublin and had a fantastic time singing, dancing and meeting new people along the way.

A great night was had and plenty of memories made!

We recently marked a significant moment in the history of Muiríosa Foundation with the final Presentation of House Badges ceremony for student nurses, as the Class of 2026 became the final cohort of nursing graduates associated with Muiríosa Foundation. 🎓

The legacy of student nurse training at Moore Abbey dates back to 1968, with the opening of St Anne’s School of Nursing. Over the decades, generations of nurses began their careers here and became part of a long tradition of learning and service.

In a fitting close to the ceremony, representatives from the first class of student nurses carried the School banner and a candle representing Florence Nightingale’s lamp from the Baronial Hall, linking the first and final chapters of this remarkable history.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 as they take the next step in their nursing careers, and thank you to everyone who has been part of the nursing tradition at Moore Abbey over the years.

In July, Garreth turned a coffee morning into a fantastic fundraiser for Dogs Trust, raising more than €1,500.

Garreth also visited Dogs Trust in Ashbourne to hand over the money raised and received a certificate in recognition of his fundraising efforts. He was also delighted to hear that his coffee morning was the most successful Dogs Trust fundraiser of the year so far.

A brilliant achievement and a great example of supporting a cause that matters.
