The organisers of Paris 2024 are aiming to have the most sustainable Olympics to date, including using 100% locally sourced renewable energy! ♻️🥇

🇮🇪 In Ireland, the SEAI can help your local sports club be more energy efficient while also becoming warmer and reducing energy bills through their Community Grant scheme.

The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications has convened a Steering Group to advise on implications of the new EU Batteries Regulation. If you believe this impacts your business and you would like to join a Steering Group on this matter, please contact [email protected] to register your interest.

On 10 July 2023 the Council of the European Union adopted a new regulation that strengthens sustainability rules for batteries and waste batteries. The regulation aims to regulate the entire life cycle of batteries – from production to reuse and recycling – and ensure that they are safe, sustainable and competitive.

The Department of Environment, Climate and Communications has convened a Steering Group to advise on implications for the sector. If you believe this impacts your business and you would like to join a Steering Group on this matter, please contact [email protected] to register your interest.
