🌐 **Digital Inclusion for Older Adults!** 📱
As Ireland embraces the digital age, we’re committed to ensuring no one gets left behind. That’s why Monaghan County Libraries have teamed up with the Vodafone Foundation through the Hi Digital programme to make digital skills training accessible for our older community members.
Did you know?
- **91%** of older people are eager to learn new digital skills.
- **1 in 3** feel digitally excluded.
- **22%** have no support when facing digital challenges.
To combat this, we’re excited to introduce our **Tablet Loan Scheme**! Now, library members can borrow ready-to-use tablets at all five Monaghan library branches. Each tablet is equipped with internet access, the Hi Digital course, and essential apps like BorrowBox and RTÉ Player.
🗓 **Loan Duration:**
- Tablets can be borrowed for **3 weeks** and renewed **twice** for an additional **3 weeks** each.
