Thanks all.

🐕 LOST DOG – MILLTOWNPASS 🐕

This dog has been spotted wandering on the road just outside Milltownpass, towards Rochfortbridge, near the first bend.

He is wearing an electronic collar but has no contact number.

Sharing in the hope that his owner, or someone who knows his owner, will see this and be made aware of his whereabouts. 🐾

Learning first-response skills is important because emergencies can happen anytime. Basic first aid can save lives, calm injured people, and prevent situations from worsening. It also builds confidence, responsibility and can give life saving assistance to a community member before emergency services arrive.

🚑 COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS – OPEN RECRUITMENT NIGHT

Our club and community know first-hand just how valuable it is to have trained First Responders in our local area.

During a recent medical emergency at a game hosted at our grounds, Rochfortbridge Community First Responders were called to assist. They quickly came to the aid of the person requiring medical attention, providing vital support and care while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance.

The commumity first responders group are now looking for new volunteers from Milltownpass and surrounding areas.

📅 Thursday, 8th October
⏰ 8pm
📍 Over the Gym, St Mary’s GAA, Rochfortbridge

No medical experience is needed and full training is provided. There’s no obligation to sign up — just go along, meet the team and find out what’s involved.

A few hours of your time and some simple training could one day make a huge difference in our community black 🖤
