First in Ireland personalised communication boards for every business in Maynooth.

Maynooth Autism Friendly Town has begun the soft launch of store-specific Communication Boards tailored to each business to help customers point, express needs, and engage more confidently.

Supporting:
✔️ Non-speaking and minimally speaking individuals
✔️ Autistic people
✔️ Children, older adults, and anyone who finds communication difficult

Today is World Autism Day and here in Maynooth, we are so proud to be launching something really special

As an Autism Friendly Town, we are piloting our Employment Programme in partnership with AsIAm a really important step in making our community truly inclusive for all.

Because inclusion isn’t just about awareness… It’s about making sure people can live, work, learn and enjoy life socially right here in their own town.

This is just the beginning and I’m so proud of what we’re building together in Maynooth! 🤍
