Cuimhne Group Art Exhibition & Brain Health Talk

Two special events are taking place at The City Library on Grand Parade on September 2, offering an opportunity to celebrate creativity and learn more about dementia and brain health. Free to attend.

🎨11:00am – Cuimhne Group Art Exhibition Launch

Cuimhne is an art group for people living with early-onset dementia and their significant others. Their artwork will be on display in The City Library throughout September. The launch will be attended by the Lord Mayor and is held in association with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland and The Crawford Gallery.

🧠11:30am – Brain Health Information Talk
The Cork branch of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland will host a free talk covering brain health, Alzheimer services in Cork, the role of the Dementia Adviser, what dementia is, and much more.
The talk will follow the exhibition launch, making it a great opportunity to come along, view the artwork, learn more and show your support.
