I am just reminding everyone about our Visually Impaired/ Blind Social Cafe happening tomorrow morning, the 24th March in the Mercy Centre,Mallow.
All welcome.
If you can sing, play music, dance or tell a story, please come along tomorrow morning, we will have a great welcome for you.All welcome, light refreshments will be served.

The beautiful sunshine brought us all out today in the fabulous surroundings of Mallow Castle grounds.
North Cork Visually Impaired/ Blind Walking Group enjoyed the spring morning together, and then went on to enjoy lunch in the HiBi Hotel .

There is no stopping the North Cork Knitters this quarter in 2026. Here, we have them making a presentation at Mallow Day Care to Centre Manager, Evonne. This Knitting group knitted " Lap blankets" for the service users. These lap blankets will be included in their " Birthday Box," one of which is presented to each client on the occasion of their birthday .

North Cork Knitters were at Mitchelstown Library yesterday to make a presentation to Sharon, the Manager at Ballyabrick ,residential homes for people with a mental health diagnosis who are enjoying independent living.
North Cork Knitters knitted beautiful colourful cushions and thrown for the different houses.

Had the most fantastic morning celebrating International Women's Day in the Mercy Centre today with Le Cheile FRC and our Multi Cultural Group.
TY students from St Mary's Secondary School joined us, what a talented bunch of young women.
Our theme this year was "Give to Gain"
Women from different cultures shared stories of local women in their respective countries who risked life and limb to change other women's lives.
Our local One Town, One Voice delighted the audience with songs and music .

Our celebration of International Women's Day is happening tomorrow, the 3rd of March , in the Mercy Centre.
Celebrations are commencing at 10 am - 1 pm.
The theme this year is " Give to Gain".
During the morning, we will hear the life stories of great women throughout the world, who broke through the glass ceiling and made huge changes for other women.
We will also be giving hints that help so that local women may gain from these practices.
To finish off the morning, we will hear from the wonderful multicultural choir ," One Voice, One town".
Refreshments will be ready.
