Forum 2026 AGM – A Great Success

A very well attended AGM was held on April 13, with representatives of over 20 estates from across Malahide and Kinsealy. Speakers included: the Forum Chair, David Greene who provided and overview of the Forum's current and planned work. Deputy Duncan Smith who discussed what he has underway in relation to traffic in Malahide. Syed Rizvi, the Grand Hotel General Manager who talked about the community centric approach they have and ongoing plans to develop the hotel....

I spoke this evening at the Malahide Community Forum meeting on traffic, active travel and public transport needs of the town. Public Transport remains a huge issue all over Dublin Fingal East with reliability and frequency a recurring theme.

Preliminary Meeting Lambay Active Retirement Association

A preliminary meeting is being held downstairs in St. Sylvester’s Parish Centre on Monday, 19th January at 2:30pm. to ascertain if people in Malahide & Portmarnock would be interested in a Third Active Retirement Association (ARA) in the area. MARA has a waiting list of 136; PARA has a waiting list of 20. It’s for anyone retired or semi-retired. It will be called LAMBAY ARA. Please pass on the word.

The Malahide Lions Club Annual Art Exhibition is being held this October Bank Holiday weekend. This is its 20th year and it is always a great event. They have over 65 artists showing over 150 pieces of art.
