Macroom & District Lions want to thank Henry Murphy in the pharmacy for his sponsorship of a hamper in our raffle tomorrow at our Meet the Clubs Day . The event, which is free starts at 12 noon til 3 with over 50 clubs there. Come down and see us in the leisure complex.

CANCELLED - New Year’s Eve Ball

Sadly, due to insufficient confirmed ticket sales, we have had to make the decision to cancel our New Year's Eve Ball.

As a Lions Club, we are not in a position to take a chance that the numbers might not fill quickly enough. It would not have been responsible of us to proceed as the event was being run strictly at cost.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the idea, helped with the organisation, and those who purchased tickets. All tickets purchased will, of course, be **fully refunded**.

We look forward to organising other Macroom events in the future and truly appreciate the encouragement shown.

Our annual food appeal starts Friday 5th Dec at 9am. Tomorrow and Saturday we will be in Dunnes stores Macroom collecting non perishable food.
