After the success of last year, we will be hosting a school uniform swap shop on Friday 3rd July. You can now drop in any clean uniforms that are in good condition into the Cottage Community Centre up to Thursday 2nd July.

Any uniforms not taken will be donated to the St. Vincent De Paul in Rush and can be picked up from there. Cash donations are also greatly appreciated and will go to St Francis Hospice.

AFRICA DAY
Lusk Community Council and Fingal Inclusion will be celebrating Africa Day at our Cultural Centre on Saturday 23rd May. This is a very special event that celebrates African culture, music, heritage and food. It will kick off at 2.15pm and all are welcome. Car parking is limited so please either park in the Cottage Community Centre car park or walk or cycle.

🌱FINGAL CLIMATE ACTION HEROES 2026🌿
This year, Dublin Climate Action takes place between the 11th and 17th May. As part of the festival of events, many Community Centres across the county will be participating in a Climate Heroes challenge.

The aim of the competition is to show how each person and group can use simple and effective measures to reduce their own climate footprint on a daily basis, both at home and in work. Climate friendly activities can include using a keep cup, cycling or walking to work, using public transport, airdrying clothes, eating vegetarian and locally produced food, among many other activities that the challenge will highlight.
