Well done to our Cubs who took part in the Fingal Scouts Cub Challenge in Collon this weekend. Both sixes did brilliantly, and put on a top class display of teamwork, determination and craic. We are very proud of them all.

Special shout out to our ‘B’ six who finished third and qualified for the National Cub Challenge in Larch Hill. They put on a brilliant display, ably led by Sixer Lucy Mae and Seconder Finn!

Huge congratulations to our Eagle and Bear patrols who took part in the Fingal Scouts shield this weekend in Larch Hill. Our Eagle patrol scooped up 2nd place, along with the logbook trophy. PL and APL, Olivia and Caodhan, were also awarded the Leadership award!

Congrats to 89th Bremore Scout Group for winning, and to Stamullen for finishing 3rd. See you both at the Phoenix in August!

Well done to our intrepid travellers who battled the Ulster MPC this weekend. They faced some truly harsh conditions and had huge learning experiences. Unfortunately, it had to be cut short yesterday, but we will be talking about for years to come. Thank you to the MPC team for organising the event, and for making the right call to disband the event early.

Huge congratulations to Jack and Cuan Clohessy who received their Venture Scout and Scout Chief Scout Awards today at a ceremony in the IMMA today! We are really proud of the lads’ achievements and the hard work they have put in over the last couple of years.

Huge thank you to the much missed Owen Quinn, who mentored both lads through their awards, and also to Colm Nolan, who mentored them to the finish line after Owen’s passing.

Massive BRAVO lads! A big day for the group! 💛🩵🤍

Our scouts were in the Valentine’s Day spirit as we held our Train Hop of Love. Scouts were on and off the train line, completing tasks and challenges in Balbriggan, Skerries, Donabate and Malahide. They ranged from photos with statues, to recreating movie clips! Safe to say our scouts went mad with it!

In the spirit of the occasion, they also handed out Valentine’s cards to commuters. One lucky commuter was serenaded with ‘Careless Whisper’ when they got theirs! 😂

Our scouts were out battling the cold this weekend at Sub-Zero with 89th Bremore Scout Group and 13th Rathfarnham Scouts. We hiked along the Dublin Mountains, through Tibradden and up onto Fairy Castle, before setting up camp in Knocksink woods. It was a challenging, but fun filled experience. Well done to everyone for braving the cold and huge thanks to Bremore for organising!

Last night, our scouts and ventures had their annual Christmas Dinner. All 3 courses were prepped, cooked and eaten by our amazing youth members. As usual, it turned out a treat, and was enjoyed by all.
