📸 Throwback Thursday – Lucan Parade, early 1990s 🎱 Here’s a brilliant one from the early parade days — a snooker table set up on the back of a truck! Does anyone remember Raphael’s Snooker Hall?
The club was home base for Ireland’s own Fergal O’Brien, one of the country’s top professionals and a former British Open winner.
And there was history made there too — Stuart Bingham scored a maxi, the famous 147 break during the 2007 Irish Classic quarter-final against Joe Swail before being edged out in the semi-final by local favourite Fergal O’Brien. The tournament was eventually won by David Morris.
Were you there? Do you remember Raphael’s? 👀
