πŸ’š A Massive Thank You to Ballinvella Community Centre Committee! πŸ’š

Members of West Waterford Mental Health Awareness were delighted to visit Ballinvella Community Centre over the weekend to accept a very generous donation.

We had a great chat and a lovely cup of tea with the gang!

This is the second year in a row that the committee has organised a walk in aid of our group, and we really can't thank them enough for their continued support and generosity.

It's community spirit like this that helps us continue our work promoting positive mental health and wellbeing throughout West Waterford.

A sincere thank you to everyone involved. It really is very much appreciated! πŸ’š

πŸ’™ What a special day in Ballyduff!

Today was exactly what West Waterford Mental Health Awareness is all about. Bringing people together, creating connection, having a laugh and reminding each other that nobody has to go through life alone.

The community spirit in Ballyduff was incredible and we want to thank everyone who came along, took part and helped make the day what it was.

Sometimes wellbeing starts with something as simple as a chat, a cup of tea, a laugh and people looking out for one another.

We’re very proud to bring days like this into communities across West Waterford. πŸ’™

Community matters. Connection matters. People matter.

We were delighted to attend a fantastic Mental Health and Wellbeing event in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan, organised by Buion Phort LΓ‘irge.

West Waterford Mental Health Awareness had a stall on the day, giving us a great opportunity to meet people, have conversations and highlight the work and supports available across West Waterford.

A huge well done to our own Liz Oakham, who spoke on behalf of the group. Our Chairperson Donnchadh Mulcahy and Vice Chair John Ryan were also there for the day representing WWMHA.

It was great to see so many organisations and supports under one roof, all with the same goal of supporting people and strengthening our communities.

A massive well done to Buion Phort LΓ‘irge for putting together such a worthwhile event, and thanks to everyone who stopped by our stall for a chat.

Unfortunately, we were so busy talking to everyone that we completely forgot to take a group photo 🀣
