Below is a fundraiser being arranged by St Nessans National School for Jill Cregg. Jill is from Pallaskenry and is wife to Dromore United coach David and mother to u12 and u13s boys Fionn and Cillian.

St. Nessan’s N.S. teacher Jill Farrell is living with Motor Neuron Disease (MND) and our school community want to show Jill and her family that they are surrounded by love, care and support.
Through our Read & Raise fundraiser, we hope to turn our love of reading into meaningful support. Every donation will go directly to Jill and her family to help with the practical and financial challenges they are facing.

CONGRATULATIONS TO, JOHN ROBIN PATTAMUKKIL

Kildimo Community Council would like to thank everyone that came last night and to everyone that supported our fundraiser.
The idea of the app is to keep people informed and up to date on whats happening around the parish weather it be Gaa fixtures or soccer fixtures, what on in the local pubs on a Saturday night to the church newsletter. Also what the community council is doing in relation to the community site or any other projects going on.
It will also be a fundraising platform for future projects and our first fundraiser was a great success and hopefully the support from the community will continue.

Kildimo Community Council are celebrating the launch of their app tonight with a €1,000 draw.

We will have music with the brilliant Charlie Rushe afterwards from 9:30pm. Come and join us for what will be a great night of celebration for the Community.

Quiz to support 3 of our local girls Sarah Carroll Maya Ranahan and Jamie Conway who are heading to Calcutta in January 2027 with the Hope Foundation all proceeds from the night go to the Hope Foundation who are working with the street children of Calcutta

🚧𝐍𝟔𝟗 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐒 – 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄🚧

I have received a further update from Limerick City & County Council regarding the ongoing N69 Clarina to Court Cross pavement works.

The main pavement overlay works are now targeted for completion this Saturday, 5th September. The contractor is working both day and night shifts this week in an effort to complete this element as quickly as possible.

Once the overlay is completed, a civil works contractor will carry out road verge improvement works. These will be shorter-duration works, with greater control over ensuring they are off the road during the morning and evening peak periods.

The final stage will involve line marking and road stud works, with the overall scheme expected to be completed by the end of September.

The works have now moved west of Ferry Bridge, and are causing significant traffic delays, particularly during the evening peak.

The Council is continuing to engage with the contractor to improve traffic movements and to maximise works during off-peak hours to reduce disruption as much as possible.

Hi All, some of ye might have seen a bit of work going on at the community site in the village this last few days .
We need to tidy the site as we need to get ready to send out our tender package.

We are hoping to be sending out the tender package for the playground and all associated civil works in the first to second week in September.
What this will mean is once we send the tender package out, it will be out for 4 weeks.

In those 4 weeks contractors will price the works to be done.
Once we are happy to proceed we will be applying to West Limerick Resources for funding.

West Limerick Resources offer 75% of total cost. We will have to come up with the other 25%.

We are asking everyone to help with our fundraising app.
Please download today ! Also make sure to register in the membership section ,otherwise you will not be entered into any draw so therefore once downloaded go to the menu section, then membership section and become a member for €50.

By becoming a member, you are supporting the playground project while also been entered into 12 monthly draws for €100 and if you sign up before the 1st of September you will be entered into a draw for a €1,000.
So for less than €5 a month you will be entered into 13 draws.
