The main aim of the Ballybrown/Clarina Community page is to encourage and support Community education and development in the community. With up to date and current information regarding local news, events, activites etc involving both our local community and surrounding areas, it is a great way for people to interact and share their thoughts. On behalf of everyone who was involved in last nights cards event, we would like to say a big a THANK YOU. It was a great success and raised over €2100 for Milford Hospice. Special mention to the organisers, sponsors of the prizes and to of course the players.

Julia K**k recently presented a new reusable party pack to the Resource Centre.
“Limerick City and County Council has launched a "Borrow, Use, Return" party pack initiative to support sustainable community events, offering free reusable party sets for up to 30 people. These kits include cutlery, plates, cups, and bunting to reduce single-use plastic”. Its pack is now available to borrow from the centre. (Also pictured is Sean O’Brien, outgoing community council member).

Today we had a visit of the Ballybrown G.A.A Club winners of the All-Ireland Junior B Hurling Championship. Loads of silverware on display. Well done once again from all the community and the community council.
