Pitch for Shane

Pitch for Shane We need you for our terracotta team. A minimum of 10,000 figures is required to fill a space twenty feet by thirty feet, including a walkway around the pitch.

To mark Shane’s passing, we propose to invite everyone who wants to live in a safe society to make a terracotta clay figure. We plan to assemble all the figures standing shoulder to shoulder, to create a terracotta team, a metaphorical Pitch for Shane. The figures will be displayed in a place accessible to the public allowing people to walk around and view as many characters as possible - maybe ev

en pick out the one they made. The installation will include a selection of photographs and signatures of makers’ on the surrounding walls.
