Increasing physical activity levels of teenage girls and their mothers via an innovative programme. We are currently recruiting new participants!

SOLE MATES is delivered by a research team at Mary Immaculate College. The innovative programme was designed in collaboration with leading researchers at the University Newcastle, Australia and the University of Northern Colorado, US. SOLE MATES (Supporting Our Lifelong Engagement: Mothers And Teens Exercising) will be running in Limerick soon. Are you a mother with a teenage daughter/s? Would you

like to take part in a programme to increase you and your daughters’ physical activity levels? SOLE MATES:

- Aims to increase physical activity levels through a 6-week walking programme

- Includes a once-per week education and practical group session at MIC lasting 90 minutes.

- Is delivered by researchers with expertise in exercise and health
