Limerick Local Employment Service Limerick Local Employment Service was established in 1995 as a result of the Task Force on Long Term Unemployment.

We provide an impartial and client-focused service for unemployed individuals, to help them find suitable opportunities in employment or education.

2019 Excellence Through People GOLD Award It is managed by PAUL Partnership and works under contract from the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP). The LES provides a free service to jobseekers in Limerick city catchment area

, assisting the individual to plan a route back to employment. We provide a Job Mediation and Guidance service which is professional, impartial and client centred. We act as a gateway or access point to enable clients to avail of supports or services from other agencies as appropriate. Employers can avail of free recruitment and placement service, together with information on various employment incentives and government programmes. Employers can avail of other supports such as interview facilities and assistance in developing job descriptions. The Limerick LES has maintained the Qmark quality assurance award each year since 2006. In 2019 Limerick Local Employment Service received the Excellence Through People GOLD Award - Certified by the NSAI
