After four wonderful years with us, Kayla is leaving to continue her course at TUS.

Kayla was part of our Go Do It project, where she and Annie became great friends. We will miss her very much, but we are so proud to see her moving forward.

📚 LIMERICK — WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! 💚

Our Read to Grow book collection is underway, and we’re asking the people of Limerick to help us gather as many children’s books as possible.

A huge thank you to I Love Limerick for sharing our appeal and helping us spread the word. 🙌

Now we’d love to see the wider Limerick community get behind us!

⚠Updates on schoolbook donations⚠

Due to the Government school book schemes and grants now available to schools, there is significantly less demand for second-hand school books.
As a result, from September 2026, we will no longer be accepting
school book donations. We sincerely thank everyone who has donated books and supported Gateway to Education Limerick over the years.

We are giving you one last chance to secure your school books at a discounted rate, Pop into our shop from now until the 30th September for your chance to secure any last minute book purchases! 📚🎒

Gateway to Education Limerick is looking to strengthen our voluntary Board and we would love to hear from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Charity & Community
• Sustainability & Circular Economy
• Governance & Organisational Development
• Funding & Project Development
• Administration & Strategy

You don’t need experience in every area — we are looking for people who can bring particular skills, knowledge and experience to help support the future development of Gateway.
