Eid Mubarak from Masjid Al-Furqan 🌙

On this blessed day of Eid ul-Adha, we ask Allah ﷻ to accept the Hajj of all the hujjaj, accept the sacrifices (Qurbani) of those who offered it, and grant all of us the opportunity to perform Hajj and Qurbani in the coming years. Ameen.

“And proclaim to the people the Hajj…”

May Allah fill your homes with happiness, barakah, mercy, and unity.
May Allah forgive our shortcomings and keep our community strong upon الخير and upon the Sunnah of prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Eid Prayer Announcement

Eid prayer will take place at 7:00 AM at Masjid Al-Furqan, Limerick.

Please arrive early and bring your prayer mat if possible.

Kindly respect our neighbours:
1) Please do not block driveways or park on yellow lines.

2)If you live nearby, we encourage you to walk to the masjid.

3)Follow volunteers and parking guidance on the day.

May Allah accept from us all and grant everyone a blessed Eid.

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
With deep sadness, we announce the tragic passing of two brothers who lost their lives while fishing. We ask Allah ﷻ to have mercy on them, forgive them, expand their graves, and grant them the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant patience and strength to their family and loved ones during this difficult time.
We also remind ourselves and our community of the great reward in attending the janazah.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whoever follows a funeral until the prayer is offered will have one qirāt, and whoever follows it until the burial will have two qirāt."
The companions asked: “What are two qirāt?”
He ﷺ said: “Like two great mountains (such as Mount Uhud).”
(SubhanAllah — such an عظیم reward for being present and supporting our brothers.)
Let us come together as a community to honour them, make du’a for them, and support their family.
