Opened from 5.30pm to 9.30pm each night until the Friday the 6th of January 2023. All we ask is you make a donation to our charity's at the road gate. Hayes Christmas Lights is one of the biggest display of Christmas Light's in Limerick. We are based in West Limerick in the high hill's of a beautiful village called Shanagolden in Co Limerick. The aim of this beautiful Christmas display is to rais

e as much as we can for 3 amazing charity's which are Milford Hospice Limerick , Children Ark Unit in Limerick University Hospital and St Gabriel's School. The charities are close to the family as they have helped our family members who have passed away. That would our father Timmy Hayes R.I.P who started the lights back in 1997 one of the first to start Christmas display around until 2003. Our brother Noel Hayes R.I.P who was only 12 years old when he passed away. Over the last 6 years since making a big return we have given over โ‚ฌ81.000 to chairty and over โ‚ฌ3.000 in spot prizes to people. We were the first to start our Christmas display back in 1997 when Timmy R.I.P and Mary Hayes started buying Christmas lights. First donations was back in 2004 when we raised โ‚ฌ10.000 but unfortunately we finished up in 2007. Since returning in 2017 we have amazing display put together for you and your family to enjoy. We have build onto it each year not to just to have amount of Santa or Snowman around the place we try and bring a different ideas to our display so the children and adults who visit our display enjoy it. We have a 12 foot boat and a real car with 11.000 lights and much more more to enjoy. This beautiful winter wonderland of a display brings so much joy to all age groups from far or near. We haven't won any awards which has shocked so many people but our message is clear once we can bring a smile to the child face and the families that call then that's the best award ever ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ. Our message to you this year is come and see the biggest display around and we ask kindly to make a donation to our chosen charity . Kind Regards

To our wonderful community,

We wanted to let you know that, due to personal circumstances, the Hayes Christmas Lights display will not be going ahead this year again. While we know this has become a cherished part of the festive season for many, we believe itโ€™s the right decision for us this year.

However, we have every intention of bringing the lights back, bigger and brighter than ever, for Christmas 2026! We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we canโ€™t wait to celebrate with you all again soon.

Wishing everyone a joyful and peaceful holiday season ahead.

On behalf of the Hayes Christmas Lights, we'd like to wish john, along with his management and his wonderful set of players, the best of luck in the Munster Hurling final today. This Limerick Hurling team is an absolute force to be reckoned with! Their skill, teamwork, and passion for the game are unparalleled. Another Christmas Eve has arrived, and the jounery of the ups and downs continues. What a year it's been the good and the bad. 21 years Dad tomorrow โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ. Itโ€™s hard when you miss people. But you know if you miss them, that means youโ€™re lucky. It means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing. No matter how old we are, we still need our dads, and wonder how weโ€™ll get by without them.
