The Bluestack Challenge 2026 – Walk With Us

This year, we are delighted to share that The Pastoral Centre Counselling Service has been named as one of the benefactors of the 2026 Bluestack Challenge Walk.

Date: Saturday 13th June 2026
Leaving from Fintown and finishing at The Bluestack Community Centre, Drimarone (just 8km outside Donegal Town)

Please note the Pastoral Centre, Diocesean Office, Counselling Service and Archives will be closed Friday 24th January due to the status red weather alert for Storm Éowyn.

DLDC are delighted to arrange “Building Resilience” workshops.

This training is facilitated by Christina Murray-McEleney from Live Well: Be Well.
Training will be delivered over three free workshops in teampaill Chroine, Dungloe, F94 KH74 (The Old Chaple)
Thursdays 7th, 14th & 21st November 2024 from 10 am – 1 pm.

Module topics include;
Understand the concept and importance of resilience in the context of “states & traits of resilience.
Learn about the attitude, mindset and behaviours associated with resilient people.
Learn practical techniques for managing emotions and learning to thinking positively.
Dealing with set-backs by developing practical & personal strategies to manage stress and adversity.
Develop a personal action plan for building and maintaining ongoing resilience in your life.
Maintain good personal wellbeing in the face of adversity.
