📣 Come and Support Our Minor Players! 📣
Join us in supporting Ronan Silke, Joe Cribben, Liam Lynch, Oisin Tighe and Senan Nicholson at a Table Quiz in aid of Action Zambia.
The lads will be travelling to Zambia in May 2027 and are aiming to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.

Leixlip GAA are running a Lip Sync Battle fundraiser on September 26th to raise funds for our club.

The acts have been putting in a serious amount of time with rehearsals and preparation, so if you can help them raise as much as possible for the club, it would be hugely appreciated. 💰

Come along on the night for some serious fun! 🥳

🎟️ Tickets are €20 and we still have a limited number available. It would be brilliant to have a big crowd there to cheer them on and make a proper night of it!

⭐ Ár Réaltaí Beaga – Our Little Stars ⭐

⭐️Remembering Ár Rèalta Beaga Léim an Bhradáin⭐️

We often say that our club is one big family. And like every family, ours has known moments of great joy… but also moments of heartbreak. Within our own community, and across the wider GAA family, there are parents, grandparents, siblings and loved ones carrying the unimaginable loss of a baby or young child.

Some losses are seen by everyone. Others are carried quietly, every single day.

Today, we want those families to know that they are not forgotten.

We are sharing this because no family should miss the opportunity to have their little star remembered simply because they never heard about it.

✨ Every name has a story. Every little star has a place. Every family deserves to know they are remembered.

Ár Réaltaí Beaga is a beautiful permanent remembrance tribute in Croke Park, honouring babies and young children from GAA clubs across Ireland who died too soon.

There is no cost or obligation to take part. The hope is simply that every family who may find comfort in this tribute knows that the opportunity exists.

We are proud to help share this important message and encourage our members to spread the word. A simple share could help a family learn that their precious child can be remembered and forever included as part of our GAA family.

Together, we can make sure that no little star is ever forgotten. 💜🌈

LGFA U16 Championship – Div 2

Leixlip 1 hosted Castlemitchell in Radley Park in round 2 of the Autumn U16 Championship on Thursday Sept 3rd. The poor weather made playing conditions difficult and that was probably reflected in the performances from both teams. Leixlip were in front from the start and looked to be in control of the game, but a strong surge early in the 2nd half from Castlemitchell had Leixlip under pressure. The players responded well and upped their game in the final 10 minutes to pull away again for an 8 point win in the end on a scoreline of 8-5 to 4-9. They now look forward to round 3, which is another home game against Na Fianna on Thursday Sept 10th.

U16 Reserve Div1 Championship

Leixlip hosted Maynooth in round 2 of the u16 Reserve championship.
It was a very wet evening which made handling difficult, but both teams worked hard to get going. Maynooth got off to a fast start with 2 early goals. Leixlip worked their way back into the game and the sides were level at half time.

The Leixlip Legends are taking on Hell & Back 2026 this Saturday for the third year in a row! 💪
They are doing it in aid of The Stephen Moylan Foundation, which provides free, professional bereavement counselling to children and young people across Ireland who've lost a parent. The teams are doing this in loving memory of their dear coach, Andrew Mac Dermott. Andrew was a wonderful camogie coach and was a member of our LGFA Committee.

Andrew’s daughters, Sonas and Faela, are both dual players in the club and together with their teammates from the 2010 girls and 2015 girls teams, they are raising vital funds and awareness for this wonderful charity.
Please support them and donate to a charity that is close to so many of our hearts. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference.

This Friday our senior footballers take on Straffan in Round 3 of the 2026 National Electrical Wholesalers Intermediate Football Championship.

U14 Division 4 Camogie – Round 3

Rathangan vs Leixlip | Away

After a delayed start, our Leixlip U14 girls were full steam ahead, fighting for every ball, battling hard and standing their ground against a very physical Rathangan side.

The odds were ever in our favour! 😉 And the girls certainly made sure of it, showing fantastic hunger, determination and teamwork from start to finish.

Some brilliant tackling, great defending and excellent handpassing made for a fantastic performance and a real joy to watch. Every girl played her part, fighting for every ball and never giving up.

A well-deserved win for our U14s! 👏
