Introducing FORESTCARBOVISION!

We’re proud to announce that Green Skibbereen is a project partner in this exciting new Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme (NPA) initiative exploring how forests in the North can help fight climate change by capturing and storing CO2.

📍We’re piloting innovative forest carbon capture methods in Ireland, including at the historic Myross Wood. This project connects communities, researchers, and nature to shape real climate solutions for the future.

🛠️ Over the next 3 years, we’ll be testing digital tools, training local technicians, hosting a Living Lab, and sharing our progress with you every step of the way.
