One of our own here in Knockcarron Joseph Hennessy is organising this fundraising night sat night in the welcome inn in aid of cliona’s foundation to raise money for his upcoming Camino walk. All support would be greatly appreciated

Well everyone,
I’m doing the Camino in June and as part of that I’m organising a charity table quiz in the welcome inn for Cliona’s foundation in Limerick. Cliona’s Foundation is a National charity with their office in Limerick that provides financial assistance directly to parents of children with life-limiting or chronic complex care needs across Ireland to help with the non-medical expenses related to caring for their child. There will be music and food on the night of anyone’s around would appreciate the support! Thanks!! (Joe Hennessy)

Having ran into delays with the opening of the preschool, I am now making Knockcarron Community Centre (the old schoolhouse) my base for play therapy work. I am also considering setting up a Parent and Toddler class here to begin over the summer. It would include free play, sensory play, and arts and crafts for children aged 2-5 years, and would encourage gentle socialisation and independence with the comfort of a parent (or other caregiver) being present. An update on the preschool facility at Knockcarron Community Centre -

Dear Parents,
We just wanted to let you know that we are still working towards getting the preschool up and running at the old school building, but unfortunately have run into some delays following a few minor requests from the county council. We are still hopeful to get things sorted over the coming months, but at this stage, a September start date is not feasible. We will update as things unfold here on the page.
