Once again, a huge thank you to Kinvara and to all who volunteered for our annual Christmas Day Swim, a terrific community event for a great cause. 💪

The 2025 swim raised €3656.77 for , a donation which helps the Hospice care for over 1,000 patients each year, as well as offering bereavement support for their loved ones. 💕

A special thanks to Kinvara Community Defibrillator Project - KCDP and to all who volunteered to help with traffic management, signs and collections and to all who supported the event by showing up.

A special shout out to all the brave swimmers! 👙

Kinvara Swimming and Life Saving Club’s annual Christmas Swim Fundraiser returns to Trácht Beach on Thursday 25 December at 1pm to help raise much needed funds for Galway Hospice

Galway Hospice provides compassionate palliative care to patients and their families in counties Galway and Mayo. The service offers Inpatient, day care and community services, delivered with compassion, dignity, respect and excellence.

This year, in particular, we are delighted that all proceeds from the swim will be donated to the Hospice. We remember our dear friend, neighbour, colleague, coach, James Hastings who made such an impact on our community during his too brief life, and we look forward to as many of our community as possible joining us for a bracing dip to remember James and to celebrate the extraordinary work he did and the very many families he touched.

We'll have the usual warming mulled wine, hot chocolate and bit of fun 👙 🏊🏿‍♀️ 🥶 ⛄

Thank you Kinvara!

Once again you have raised almost €3,000 for The National Breast Cancer Research Institute. 🙌🙌

Thanks to Kinvara Community Defibrillator Project - KCDP and to Arrabawn Dairies, and to all who volunteered to help with traffic management, signs and collections and to all who supported the event. A special shout out to all the brave swimmers!

The Nbcri Ireland thanks you for your support in improving outcomes for our mothers, sisters, aunts, friends, daughters, grandmothers.

Thanks to supporters like you, we can continue to fund the research that is so crucial for our friends’ and families' future. Your contribution will directly support the breast cancer research programme at the Lambe Institute based at the University of Galway. Breast cancer remains the most common female cancer, with life-long implications for many patients.
It is such a pleasure to deal with you, and as always the community of Kinvara are so amazing in their support of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, wishing you all the very best for 2025.
