Thanks everyone who picked up litter yesterday! Lots done.
I know more people are heading out today to tidy their area.
Hopefully it is less windy than yesterday.

Please let me know what stretch of road you are doing, and I'll take note.

We need all the litter bagged and then bags brought to a particular skip.
If you message me, I can arrange someone to bring the bags to the skip.

Thanks once again to all our volunteers this weekend, and those picking up litter throughout the year.

Property marking event in Kiltullagh Killimordaly this Saturday.

Property theft is one of the biggest security challenges in Ireland today. Every year within every community in Ireland households and small businesses experience the trauma of being a victim of theft or burglaries. In addition, every year hundreds of thousands of euro worth of stolen property is recovered from the hands of criminals, but all too often there is no way of identifying its rightful owners.

Kiltullagh Killimordaly Community Alert will provide a free property marking service this Saturday.

The service involves marking property with the owner’s Eircode, which is a unique identifier. The mark that is made on the property is a physical mark which is etched into the property.
It is very difficult to remove and can be repeated a number of times on the one item.
The mark is made by a specially-designed machine which embosses the property item with small dots in the pattern of your Eircode.

Thanks to Clarinbridge Men's Shed, we will have the specialist equipment (and trained users) from 10am until 1pm at the Community Centre, on Saturday 21st.

If you have any questions or queries please contact Brian Walsh or Eoin Madden directly.
