The Roaring Twenties - revived for one night only - in Kilteel…
The Gramophone Social filled the room with 1920’s dance music 💃🕺 🎶 and the cocktails were flowing nicely!🍸🍹
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and really got into the spirit of all. Such a fun way to close out the 2026 Kilteel St Brigid Arts Weekend

We are very grateful to all of our Brigid Cross tutors this year, Maura, Betty, Aoife, and to Fidelma who made up countless crosses in advance of the weekend. They were certainly kept busy! And of course, huge thanks to those who braved the dreadful weather to go out and harvest the rushes!

Many thanks to all of those involved in the Lighting of the Beacon again this year. This symbolic light shone from Cupidstown Hill, the highest point in county Kildare, beaming light on Kilteel village and the surrounding areas in honour of St. Brigid.

Maura and her merry band of Hill Walkers braved the mists of the north Kildare uplands, and worked up an appetite for homemade soup and sandwiches back in the warmth of Kilteel Hall. Plus maybe a cake or two!
