📣 Community Announcement and our EGM
Wexford Pride would like to share that Mary West (she/her) has stepped down from her role as Treasurer on the Wexford Pride Committee as of the 24th of February 2026.
The Wexford Pride committee would like to sincerely thank Mary West for her contributions and hard work as treasurer over the past year, and for her dedication to uplifting the community through bringing us together at a number of events she hosted. Mary is stepping down for personal reasons and will be missed as a valued member of the committee.
As per our constitution, Wexford Pride will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at 8PM on Saturday the 7th of March to elect a new Treasurer (full description below).
This meeting will take place online VIA google meet.
The Treasurer should have a sufficient level of financial expertise to cover the responsibilities, as such a suitably qualified individual has been nominated to assume this role. An EGM provides an opportunity for Wexford Pride membership to vote on the election of this individual.
The role entails handling the financial responsibilities of Wexford Pride including, but not limited to, Money in vs money out, recording income and management of the Credit Union account amongst other responsibilities.
