Every driver knows how much inconvenience high grass along the roadside can cause. Dense vegetation, especially on sharp bends, can obstruct visibility and create potential safety hazards.

The Kilmallock CE Scheme team is committed to doing everything possible to make our roads safer and more comfortable for everyone. This time, we cleared the overgrown grass along the road leading out of Kilmallock towards Tipperary, improving visibility for motorists.

We hope our work will benefit all residents and visitors to our town. Road safety starts with attention to important details like these.

Weeds can make the sidewalks of our town look untidy and neglected. There are many ways to deal with them. Some choose the easy route and rely on chemical w**d killers. However, the Kilmallock CE Scheme team cares about our town and its residents and does not want to expose them to harmful chemicals.

That is why we remove w**ds mechanically. It takes more time and effort, but it is a safer solution for people, pets, and the environment.

We are proud to help keep Kilmallock clean, attractive, and safe for everyone!

The hot weather has arrived in Kilmallock 🌞
It’s not only uncomfortable for all of us, but also for the flowers growing in the town’s flower beds. The Kilmallock CE Scheme team is making sure the flowers stay healthy and beautiful by actively watering the flower beds throughout the town 💧🌸

Kilmallock CE Scheme continues its work at the Effin GAA stadium.

The painting of the metal structures of the stand canopy is almost complete, and we are very pleased with the results of our work. The stadium is gradually getting a refreshed and well-maintained look.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that many of you enjoy attending games held at GAA stadiums. The Kilmallock CE Scheme team does everything possible to make your time at the stadiums as comfortable as possible.

Our staff take care of the playing fields and ensure that all sports facilities are kept in good condition.

This week, we focused on cleaning and painting the metal structures of the stand canopy at Effin GAA stadium. We hope that our work will make attending your favourite team’s games even more enjoyable and convenient.

🌧️ Today’s rainy weather didn’t stop the Kilmallock CE Scheme team from tidying up the lawns around the children’s playground and cleaning the playground itself 👏

However, we were disappointed to see such a large amount of rubbish in the area where children play…
Paper coffee cups, food packaging, disposable forks and spoons were left behind.

🙏 A big request to everyone: please clean up after yourselves.
There are THREE rubbish bins on the playground grounds (we marked them in the photo for those who may not know what they look like 😉).
There is also another bin at the entrance to the playground.

Last week turned out to be quite a demanding one for the Kilmallock CE Scheme team, but also a productive one. A significant amount of grass cutting and general maintenance work was carried out across several public areas.

Over the past few days, lawns in residential areas, along the old town wall, in Famine Memorial Park, and on the grounds of SS. Peter & Paul’s Church were all brought back into good order.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and dedication. We hope the people of Kilmallock have noticed the improvements and appreciate the continued effort to help keep our town clean, tidy, and well maintained.
