☀️🍂🌿 Fine, sunny days in mid-October are a rare treat in our part of the world! When the sun brings us warmth and autumn briefly reminds us of summer, we want to make the most of every moment and enjoy this beautiful weather.

But for the Kilmallock CE Scheme team, it’s also a great opportunity to get as much work done as possible! 💪 While the weather is on our side, we’re making the most of every sunny day to tidy up the lawns around our town and make Kilmallock even more welcoming, greener and more beautiful. 🌱🏡

🍂 This past week, our Kilmallock CE Scheme team focused on tidying up the footpaths along Railway Road. We cleared fallen leaves and weeds and trimmed branches from bushes that were getting in the way of pedestrians.

🌿 First impressions matter — and you only get one chance to make them!

Every town has its own character. And for many people, their first impression of Kilmallock begins right here — on Bruree Road.

Every morning, as I drive into town, I pass along this road. And, like many others, I naturally notice how the lawns, footpaths and surrounding areas look.

Because a tidy entrance to a town says a lot.

It says that people care about the place. It says that the town is looked after. It says that people take pride in where they live. 💚

That’s why the Kilmallock CE Scheme team regularly works along this stretch — mowing the grass, keeping the lawns tidy and making sure that one of the main entrances to Kilmallock looks its best.

It may seem like just another everyday job. But it’s these small things that make a big difference to the look and feel of our town.

☀️ A beautiful day for getting things done!

Thanks to the perfect weather for outdoor work, the team at Kilmallock CE Scheme managed to get a large number of lawns around our town looking neat and tidy today. 🌿✂️

We always try to make sure that when you step outside your home, you see well-kept grass, clean footpaths and a tidy town. 🌱✨

It’s all part of our ongoing work to make Kilmallock a cleaner, greener and more pleasant place for everyone who lives here and visits us. ❤️

Today, we gave the area around the library a fresh and tidy look. This is a place visited by local residents every day, so we want it to feel welcoming and well cared for.

☀️ The summer sunshine gave the Kilmallock CE Scheme team a great start to the new working week!

We were back in action 💪🌿, tidying up the lawns along the walking routes around our beautiful town and cutting the grass in several residential areas of Kilmallock.

Clean lawns, tidy streets and well-maintained public spaces are the little things that make our town an even nicer place for everyone. 🌱😊

🍂 Autumn Walks Around Kilmallock 🍂

On the days when there is less grass-cutting work to be done, our team doesn’t sit around! 😊

We head out on our regular “walks” along some of the most popular walking routes in Kilmallock. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

As we go, we keep an eye out for any litter along the paths, lawns and green areas, picking it up and keeping our town looking neat and tidy. And, of course, with autumn arriving, there are plenty of leaves to clear too! 🍁

We’d like to say a big thank you to the people of Kilmallock. ❤️
There is noticeably less litter around our town, and that is something we can all be proud of.

Every little bit helps, and together we can keep Kilmallock looking clean, welcoming and beautiful. 🌿🍂

Some places hold a very special meaning. ❤️

For the Kilmallock CE Scheme team, places connected with the memories of local people and their loved ones are always a special priority.

We understand that when you visit the place where your family members and loved ones are laid to rest, you want to see it clean, cared for and well maintained. That is why we always try to work here with particular care, attention and respect.

Today, our team spent time tidying and caring for the cemetery in Tankardstown. 🌿

Behind every grave there is a story, a family and memories that continue to live on.

We are proud to play our small part in caring for these special and important places within our community. ❤️
