A special service involving the Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland communities will take place in St. Paul's Church of Ireland, Killashee on Friday evening next 19th June at 8pm. The service will celebrate the shared Christian heritage of the parish and provide an opportunity for parishioners of both traditions to come together in prayer and fellowship.
Following the service, a new publication, Killashee & Clondra Parish - A History of Faith will be launched. The book traces the rich faith story of the parish through the generations, highlighting the people, places and events that have shaped religious life in the area. The book is full of information about religious sites in the parish, holy wells, information on parishioners and those connected to the parish who joined religious orders etc. A great read and a book that will be of interest to anyone connected with the parish.
All are warmly invited to attend both the service and the book launch. Refreshments afterwards in The Chestnut Tree, Killashee.

UPDATE.
For anyone who is available, we will go with 2 o'clock Saturday for grass cutting. Thanks

Hi all,

After visiting the cemetery earlier, the grass is too wet and the ground is too soft to do any mowing this evening. We will postpone until Saturday afternoon when the weather picks up and provides some drying.
Will provide an update on what time Saturday later this evening. Thanks
