Last week, we celebrated a significant milestone with friends, supporters, and contributors to KASI - 25 years of building community, delivering impact, and fostering connection.

Almost 100 people gathered in Killarney to mark the occasion, including many of those who helped establish KASI in its early years, alongside the dedicated people who continue to deliver KASIโ€™s work on the ground today.

We were honoured to hear from some of KASIโ€™s founders and long-time supporters, as well as representatives from partner organisations, local authorities, and schools who work with us in our shared commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive society for everyone. Many speakers reflected on how, at a time when division and uncertainty can feel increasingly prevalent, fostering connection and understanding is more important than ever.

The event also saw the launch of the KASI Global Cookbook, featuring 18 recipes from around the world, generously shared by some of the many wonderful people who have helped make Killarney a more welcoming and vibrant place to live.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone, and to The Brehon Hotel & Spa, Killarney for hosting us so wonderfully.

Twenty-five years on, the heart of KASI remains the same: a place where everyone is welcome. Our door is open, our table has room for more, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
