The Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce, together with the Christmas in Killarney Festival Committee, would like to convey our deep appreciation to everyone in our community who helps make Christmas in Killarney a success each year.

A truly special tribute ✨

We were honoured to help make a long-held Christmas wish come true this year, as Leanes Tool Hire & Sales. took part in the Magic Parade in memory of Philip — a man who shared over 20 years of kindness, humour, and generosity with those around him!

📣 Tonight’s Magic Parade Is Going Ahead - Saturday 13th 🎅🏻✨

The organisers of the Christmas in Killarney Festival have confirmed that the Christmas in Killarney parade, scheduled for this Saturday night, December 13th, will proceed as planned.

With a weather warning anticipated since Friday, the festival committee was closely monitoring the situation and following a full review of the situation, discussions with the local authority and monitoring Met Éireann reports, a decision was taken to continue as planned.

An Orange weather warning is not now due to come into force until 3.00am on Sunday and conditions are expected to be quite mild in Killarney at the time of the parade.

The third of four Christmas Magic Parade will commence this Saturday at 6.00pm with the route taking in Lewis Road, College Street, Plunkett Street, Main Street and High Street.

“We are delighted that the parade can go ahead for the sake of all the children and the young at heart that had been looking forward to the big event,” said Christmas in Killarney Festival Chairman Cllr Niall Kelleher.

🎉🎄 As we bid farewell to 2024, let’s take a moment to reminisce about the magical Christmas in Killarney festival!

From the return of the beloved Killarney on Ice Rink to the Christmas Markets in Fairhill Car Park supported by Kerry County Council, and not forgetting Santa’s Grotto at Deenagh Lodge, this season has truly been one to remember.

The Magic Parade turnouts were spectacular, bringing a vibrant buzz to our town. A huge thank you to everyone who joined in the festivities, from near, far, and wide!

A huge thank to our amazing festival partners: Killarney Chamber of Tourism & Commerce, Kerry County Council, Discover Kerry, and Fáilte Ireland, and our incredible sponsors, stewards, and volunteers. 👏🏻
