As we reflect on another fantastic Ballyfoyle Agricultural Show, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making the day such a success.
While still in our infancy as an ag show (6th yr), it's incredibly encouraging to see how the show continues to grow and develop. Every year we learn something new, and it's wonderful to see the support from our local community and beyond as we continue to build on what has become a highlight of the summer calendar.
๐ One of the standout successes this year was the continued growth of our sheep section. We were delighted to welcome more exhibitors and entries than ever before, with a fantastic standard of stock on display.
๐ Our equine showing and showjumping fields once again produced excellent competition, with great entries, quality classes and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day. It was fantastic to see so many competitors making the trip to Ballyfoyle.
We also introduced a number of layout changes around the showgrounds this year, and we're delighted with how well they worked. As with any growing event, we're always looking for ways to improve, and we've already taken on board valuable feedback and ideas that will help us make the 2027 show even better.
๐ Events like this simply wouldn't happen without the incredible support of so many people. A huge thank you to our generous sponsors, our dedicated exhibitors and competitors, our judges, course builders and stewards, our hardworking volunteers, our landowners who continue to make the show possible, and everyone who came through the gates to support us. Your encouragement and enthusiasm are what keep this show growing year after year.
All this effort contributes to our donations to some very worthy charities, Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare Team, Castlecomer Day Care, Cancer Trials Ireland and many local worthy charities.
Thank you all for being part of another memorable Ballyfoyle Agricultural Show. ๐
