As group leader, I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that contributed to a successful and enjoyable day, for our Christmas Fair๐
So many people deserve to take a bow.
Contributions of gifts, cakes, crafts; prepping of materials for the games and arts/crafts by our youth members; time taken helping to staff a stall; various behind the scenes organising; someone persuading Santa to visit us๐
๐ผ; and to all those that came and spent some money.
But, to name just a few, in particular to Annie, Luke Michelle and Mairead who have spearheaded or facilitated both yesterday and also several other fundraising activities over the last few months.
The whole group is grateful for everything. Scouting cannot happen for free: ensuring a functioning den, and providing resources and specialist equipment for activities, takes time and funding.
The opportunities and learning experiences that our volunteer youth work provides to the lads is vital for their development.
To you all, thank you๐๐ผ. Bualadh bos๐๐ผ. Bravo!
