We are a busy, family-friendly and fun afterschools service, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is ready to take on a leadership role.

Summer Camp Adventures 🌞🏅
What a fantastic week we’ve had at summer camp! 🏆✨
This week was all about the Olympics — we made our own flags, created Olympic flames, enjoyed lots of sporting activities and, most importantly, made new friends and memories along the way! 🏃‍♀️🏅🏃‍♂️
We also headed off on adventures around Jenkinstown, getting out exploring and enjoying everything nature has to offer. 🌳🌿
As we come towards the end of our summer camps, we’re not finished just yet! Next week is our Nature Week, with lots more exploring, adventures and plenty of memories still to be made. 🌱🦋🌳
We can’t wait to see what our final week brings! 💚✨

Nature explorers week 💐

What a fun week we had in summer camp
The children had great fun outdoors from nature walks bug hunts leaf art scavenger hunts den building we also went on a trip to explore Woodstock we had so much fun exploring wildlife and nature 🌹

A huge thank you to all the children for their enthusiasm and to the parents for the continued support ❤️

We looking forward to next week adventures ❤️

Week 4 summer camp
Science and discover week

From exciting experiments to hands on discoveries, the children and staff had so much fun exploring creating and learning through science the children got involved in different science experiments and stem challenges we also had a trip to the castle park and finished the trip day with an icecream treat

Their teamwork made this week one to remember❤️

Thanks to all the children and staff for making more memories ❤️

We can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings ❤️

Another fantastic week at Summer Camp! 🌞💙
What a brilliant day we had in Tramore! The children loved discovering jellyfish and crabs, taking on our sandcastle challenge, getting creative with crafts, singing their hearts out, and of course, we couldn't let a week pass without a game of soccer! ⚽🦀🏖️🎨🎶
The best part of camp is watching friendships blossom, confidence grow, and seeing so many smiles and laughs every single day. Our staff are having just as much fun as the children, enjoying all the laughter, banter, and unforgettable moments.
We're already looking forward to Science Week next week, with lots of exciting experiments and hands-on fun planned! 🧪🔬

The Village Childcare & Community Services is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Educator to join our friendly team.
Position:
Afterschool Educator
Monday to Friday
25hrs per week, Term Time 1pm to 6pm
Out of term 10am to 3pm
Minimum Level 5 Early Learning & Care qualification required.
€16per hour (minimum for qualified candidates), with opportunities for progression based on experience and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a genuine passion for working with school-aged children.
Be enthusiastic, creative and able to plan fun, engaging activities.
Work well as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be Garda Vetted

🌿🐍 What an incredible week at our "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" Summer Camp! 🐍🌿
We had an action-packed week full of fun, laughter and adventure! The children and team bravely took on rotten food challenges, explored the beautiful Woodstock Gardens, built woodland huts, got creative making their own Kings and Queens of the Jungle, and of course enjoyed plenty of exciting soccer games and outdoor fun.
A huge well done to all of our little celebrities for embracing every challenge with such enthusiasm and big smiles! ⭐
🌊 Next week we're diving Under the Sea! 🐠🐙🐚
We can't wait for another week of exciting activities, crafts, games and adventures as we explore the wonders of the ocean together!

Week One of Summer Camp Complete! ☀️🎉
What a wonderful first week we've had! ❤️
We've made new friends, created lots of fantastic arts and crafts, explored the Discovery Park, and, most importantly, made memories that will last a lifetime.
A huge thank you to all of our amazing children, families, and staff for making it such a fun-filled week.
