🎉 FUNDRAISER UPDATE & HUGE THANK YOU! 🎉
​We are beyond thrilled to announce that Paul has officially surpassed his first target of €1,800 for Callan Community First Responders! 🏃‍♂️
​The outpouring of support from our incredible community, as well as his friends and family, has been absolutely amazing. We are so deeply grateful to everyone who has donated, shared, and cheered him on so far! Every euro raised directly helps us continue our life-saving work in the community.
​But Paul isn't stopping there! As he enters the final stretch of training for the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday, October 25th, he has set his sights even higher with a new goal of €2,500.
​Let’s all get behind Paul, send him every bit of encouragement for these final weeks of training, and wish him the absolute best of luck on race day! 👏❤️

Paul is going the distance! 🏃‍♂️ He has already raised €1,698 of his initial goal €1,800. Paul is committed to continuing his efforts as he takes on the Dublin City Marathon on 25th October 2025—another fantastic achievement to add to his personal milestones.

We are delighted to announce Callan CFR's 4th external Public AED! 🚨❤️ A massive thanks to;
The Callan community who generously donated in July & fully paid for the AED. 👏 To John Doheny (millerect) who funded the AED cabinet. Also to Bretts Brothers for facilitating the installation and power source at their entrance. (R95DT93).
A heartfelt thank you to all the first responders who dedicate their time to helping our community, you are truly an awesome team! 🙌✨

🏅 Kilkenny Medieval Marathon: Mission Accomplished! 🏅€1,400 raised so far.
3 hours, 41 minutes was an incredible feeling.
🔥 The Breakdown: 54th out of 349 runners. Male Category: 52nd out of 278 runners
Huge thanks to everyone who supported Paul. He now prepares for the Dublin Marathon

❤️ CPR Needs to Be on Every School Curriculum 🚑 Seeing kids of all ages pick up CPR skills at National Services Day in Kilkenny proved one thing above all: Our children are fully capable of saving lives if we just take the time to show them how!
Learning CPR isn't just an extra activity—it is a vital, life-saving skill that instills confidence, responsibility, and empathy from a young age.
Well done to all the fantastic kids who led by example today! 👏✨

Today at the National Emergency National Services Day - Ireland . Advanced Paramedic Rory Dullard demonstrated Emergency lifting chair. Our responder Andrew volunteered for a demo! 💺
​It is a mobile, battery-operated lifting device used by emergency services, to safely raise a person who has fallen to a sitting or near-standing position.
