🥾 Meet Maureen O’Brien.

Maureen knows the Galtee Mountains well. As a qualified Mountain Leader, she loves sharing that knowledge with others and helping people experience the mountains safely and at a pace that allows them to really enjoy where they are.

For Maureen, a day in the Galtees is about much more than reaching the top. It’s the landscape, the changing conditions, the views, the conversations along the way and simply spending time in the mountains.

Guided walks with local Mountain Leaders are one of the many unique experiences that form part of the Ballyhoura Country Community, connecting visitors with the people who know this landscape best.
