We’re very sorry to share the news that the Kilfenora Corner project will not be going ahead. Regretably, the owners have withdrawn it from the market and are going in a different direction.

Thank you sincerely for the support and encouragement shown over the past few months. Thanks to the generosity of philanthropic donors and everyone who donated, we were nearing a position to make an offer. Despite our best efforts, circumstances outside our control brought the process to a halt.

To everyone who contributed through GoFundMe, you will receive your money back shortly. Thank you for your generosity and trust. And to all the musicians who played at events, and to everyone who showed up, shared ideas, donated, or cheered us on, go raibh míle maith agaibh.

The issues we hoped to address, rural decline, the loss of village spaces, pub closures, are still very real, and we hope our efforts might encourage others to keep pushing for positive change. Whatever happens with the building, we hope it will still become an asset to the village.

Thank you again for everything.

An immense thank-you to James Kelly, one of Ireland's most celebrated traditional fiddle players for his generous support of the Kilfenora Corner project all the way from Miami, Florida's. A special nod of appreciation to his daughter Sarah Kelly for capturing this for us.
