It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Maura Kelly, beloved mother of Celine Kelly-Kenny and mother-in-law of our Group Leader, Liam.
Celine is a valued and active member of our Scout Group and has given so much of her time and energy through her work with our Parents & Friends Committee, helping organise fundraisers, secure grants and support the group in countless ways.
As a mark of respect, all scouting activities are cancelled this week.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Celine, Liam, Ross and all the Kelly family at this very difficult time.

Tonight our Cubs were in Terra Nova, they cooked lamb koftas with tenderstem broccoli and peppers in campfire packets, boiled baby potatoes, and finished it all off with an ice pop for dessert!

All at Kildangan Scouts wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Vivian Carroll on his sudden passing. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife Breda and their children, Christian, Sadhbh, Roan and Elliot, his mother in-law Bridie, and the Carroll and Kenny families at this very sad and difficult time.

Vivian was a person who embodied true community spirit. His kindness, generosity and willingness to support local organisations never went unnoticed. He leaves a lasting legacy of goodwill within our community.

Our Cubs had the pleasure of welcoming, Community Garda Séan to their scout meeting this evening they had lots of questions and loved exploring the garda van. 👮‍♂️🚔

Our raffle is complete!
A huge thank you to our amazing fundraising committee, scout leaders, parents, scouts, local businesses, our kind and generous community, all our ticket sellers, and everyone who bought a ticket.

The money raised will go towards the development of our scout site, Terra Nova. This will directly benefit our scouts by creating a space for outdoor activities, skills development, adventure, and lifelong memories.

Your support helps give our young people the best possible scouting experience — thank you for being part of it ❤️💛
