*🚫 No Parking on Our Green Areas*

We have received a number of complaints about vans and cars parking on the grass at the middle green.

The contractors involved were previously asked to move their vehicles off the grass and kindly agreed to do so. Unfortunately, they are now back parking on the green again.

This is also a safety concern, particularly for children who are playing in the area.

We ask residents who are having work carried out at their homes to please respect other residents and our shared community areas and ensure contractors do not park on the green spaces.

Parking on the grass is not acceptable. It damages the grass and green areas, which are there for everyone to enjoy. It also sets a precedent and encourages others to do the same.

🌱 Repairing these areas costs money to fill in, reseed and maintain — ultimately affecting the community.

Please be considerate of the estate and keep vehicles off the green areas.

Our green spaces are NOT parking spaces. 🌱🚫🚗
Thank you for your cooperation.

🚸 IMPORTANT REMINDER – PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND NO PARKING ON THE AVENUE

A reminder to all vehicles travelling along The Avenue Road, into and out of Cnoc na Gréine.

The Avenue is used every day by children and families travelling to and from school, the Community Centre, playground, GAA pitches, shops and many other activities in Kilcullen.

🚶‍♀️ This is a pedestrian ramp.
Drivers are asked to slow down, be vigilant and STOP to allow pedestrians to cross safely at the bridge.

🚗 There should be NO Parking along The Avenue. Cars have been parking on double yellow lines and the pedestrian crossing in the mornings. Vehicles should not be parking on this stretch of the road at any time.

There is plenty of parking available around the Community Centre area, so there is no need to use The Avenue for quick or convenient parking.

STOP. SLOW DOWN. TAKE CARE.

Let's all do our part to keep children, pedestrians and other road users safe.
