Sophia is the daughter of one of our Kilcoole Community First Responders, and we absolutely love seeing the next generation getting involved and learning about CPR. 👏

It’s so important that children and young people understand from an early age just how valuable these lifesaving skills can be. You never know when you might need to help someone in an emergency, and knowing what to do can make a real difference.

❤️ PUBLIC ACCESS AED – BULLFORD BUSINESS CAMPUS, KILCOOLE ❤️

We’re delighted to let you know that the Public Access AED at Bullford Business Campus in Kilcoole has recently been refurbished and is now back in action! 🙌

📍 Location: Outside RENOVA
Unit 14, Block C, Bullford Business Campus,
Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, A63 YK16

The AED is there for anyone working in, or visiting, the industrial estate and could be a vital piece of equipment in the event of a cardiac emergency.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE THE ACCESS TIMES:
Bullford Industrial Estate is closed in the evenings and at weekends. The AED box is accessible Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.

📍 The next closest AED is located on Kilcoole Main Street, outside Sweet Pea – A63 W9P9.

Knowing where your nearest AED is can make a huge difference in an emergency. ❤️@

❤️ Another 6 coaches certified! ❤️

A huge well done to another 6 coaches from Kilcoole Athletic Club who are now CPR/AED certified following our latest training sessions.

That brings us to an amazing 10 Kilcoole AC coaches trained over just 2 days! 👏

We love seeing local sports clubs taking the time to learn these potentially life-saving skills. Having more people in our community who are confident and prepared to respond in an emergency can make a real difference.

A massive well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to Kilcoole Athletic Club for having us! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️❤️

❤️ What a great day at Newtownmountkennedy Community Groups Open Day! ❤️

We were delighted to take part in the Open Day at Newtownmountkennedy Community Centre and meet so many people from the local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who popped over to say hello, have a chat, learn some basic CPR and find out more about what we do as Community First Responders. 🚑❤️

It was fantastic to see so much interest in learning lifesaving skills, and we're delighted that so many of you signed up for our upcoming training sessions!

Thank you to the organisers for having us and to everyone who came along and supported all the fantastic community groups.

Kilcoole Community First Responders 🚑💚

Thanks to your incredible support and donations, we’ve recently invested in brand new training equipment from Flashpoint Systems an Irish supplier with decades of experience supporting emergency responders across the country.

We’ve added:
✔️ Adult, female & child CPR manikins
✔️ Choking vest
✔️ Training AEDs
✔️ And more lifesaving training tools

This equipment will help us continue training as a team and, more importantly, allow us to bring lifesaving skills into our community.

👀 Watch this space, we’ll be announcing public CPR & AED training sessions very soon!

If your group, club, or workplace would like to learn CPR, please get in touch, we’d be more than happy to help 💪

Kilcoole Community First Responders 🚑

We’re always training, always learning, and always refreshing our certifications, because when an emergency happens, every second matters.

CPR and early defibrillation can save lives, and it doesn’t matter who gives it, what matters is that it happens fast. 💔➡️❤️

Our goal is simple:
👉 Empower our community
👉 Build confidence in emergencies
👉 Help save lives together

We’ll be organising community training events soon so YOU can learn CPR and how to use an AED, no experience needed, just a willingness to help.

Because the chain of survival starts with all of us. 💪
