Kilcock SEC

Kilcock SEC Our Vision is to be a leading community
in energy efficiency, retrofitting & renewable energy

We seek to engage the wider community in the
conversation around energy efficiency, smart energy & using renewable energy sources. We will partner with Kildare County Council to produce an Energy Master Plan for the community, which will allow us to envision the energy transition in a real and active way within our community. Our focus will be on practical aspects of retrofits for home heating &

more sustainable transport options for the people of Kilcock. We will examine opportunities for future projects that will create social & economic benefits for future generations
We will work together .... by engaging with all members of our community & our community energy mentor on what tools & services are available to make us more energy aware & how the options available can be used to save money & energy, & to provide a framework towards low carbon living for everyone in Kilcock.....We commit to active learning by looking at how we use energy & what energy we use. We will examine where savings can be made on an individual & collective basis. We will actively follow other community energy developments through the SEC Network & see if & how they are replicable in Kilcock
