🚴‍♂️ RÁS TAILTEANN 2026 COMING THROUGH KENMARE 🚴‍♀️

Kenmare will welcome the excitement of the Rás Tailteann on Thursday 21st May 2026 as Stage 2 travels from Rathmore, Co. Kerry to Banteer, Co. Cork.

Cyclists are expected through Kenmare from approximately 11:30am onwards, travelling via Kilgarvan and continuing towards Glengarriff through the Caha Pass.

Estimated race timings through the area:
• Kilgarvan: approx. 11:31am – 11:23am race convoy window
• Kenmare: approx. 11:41am – 11:31am
• The Lansdowne / Main Street area: approx. 11:42am
• Bonane: approx. 11:52am
• Caha Pass: approx. 11:56am onwards
• Glengarriff: approx. 12:10pm

Please note there may be temporary traffic holds and rolling road closures in advance of the race convoy for public safety.

This is a fantastic opportunity to come out and support one of Ireland’s most iconic cycling events while showcasing Kenmare to visitors, teams, and supporters from across the country and beyond.

We encourage everyone to line the streets, support the riders, and enjoy the atmosphere in town! 🇮🇪🚴
