An appreciation post demonstrating the hard work and dedication of Kells Tidy Towns volunteers who undertake litter picking every Saturday and Sunday. It doesn't matter if it's scorching hot 🌞 or raining 🌧 , whatever the weather they are out 52 weeks of the year. 🌼 🌸

The awards and the excitement continues following our recent Awards night.

A special presentation was made to a long serving member of staff of The Headfort Arms Oliver (Skol) McGovern, who became the first recipient of a new Five Star Award.

The Headfort Arms were presented with the prestigious Larry O’Brien Cup, sponsored by O'Brien's SuperValu Kells.

The awards were presented by Kells Tidy Towns Chairperson Brian Curran and Treasurer Lisa Smith with the Larry O’Brien Cup presented by Cormac Corr to Sadhbh Dunnagan and Martina Scott on behalf of the hotel, alongside Oliver “Skol” McGovern.

Great work done along one of Kells' famous landmarks, The Red Hill 👏
Thanks to Kells Tidy Towns volunteers who completed an extensive clean up of The Red Hill over the past few days. It is a pleasure to walk down.
Also, thank you to Kells Municipal Authority who removed the rubbish after volunteers had collected and bagged it.
