i4life.ie i4Life is a health specialist charity grounded in based in Co.Galway and working in Zambia & Uganda.

We provide specialist teams of experienced Child Health Specialists to provide education and support to existing charities, NGO’s and government in particular on immunisation, nutrition, and other key related child health issues in Global South. Members of our team include experienced Public Health Nurses, Doctors and other health professionals working with children in Ireland. Immunisation
Immuni

sation is one of the world’s most powerful tools for health and is a simple, safe and effective way of protecting against certain diseases, which we may take for granted. In developing countries where vaccines are not readily available, diseases such as measles, particularly in malnourished children, can cause serious complications and death. Nutrition
Malnutrition isn’t just a case of lack of food but rather lack of appropriate food. Malnutrition during the first two years of a child’s life can have serious short and long term implications for health and wellbeing. Donate
Making a donation to i4Life is a vital way to support our work. Every donation – no matter what the size – will make a difference to the lives of the children and families we work with.

The wonderful Headford Women's Cycling Club are getting out in action again this year in support of i4Life. On June 6th, they will undertake a 50km cycle around headford to raise vital funds for the Primary Health Centre in Zambia.

The cycling club undertook a 55km distance last year in blistering heat and it was a magnificent day welcoming them back to our HQ in Headford.

We would appreciate your support.

i4Life is thrilled to announce our 2nd annual sponsored walk! Following the success of last year’s event, we are continuing our journey along the historic National Famine Way, tracing the canal from Richmond Harbour (Cloondara) to Ballybrannigan Harbour.

This isn't just a walk; it’s a challenge of solidarity. By participating, you are walking in the shoes of community health workers in Zambia, raising vital funds to support the Primary Health Centre in the Linda Compound, Lusaka.

Friday the 13th is unlucky for some, but not us, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening for our fashion show at the Anglers Rest Hotel in headford.

This was our second year running the show and your support did not waver, in fact it was bigger and better.

With 10 business on displays, and over 40 spot prices donated on the night it truly was a jam packed evening.

Thank you again to Mandy Maher Catwalk Modelling Agency and her wonderful models, you all really helped to make the night so special.

To our local models, you were fantastic and thank you for taking part.

The Coleman School of Irish dance got us underway with an excellent display of dance.

Ger & McGaugh's Gardening Complex for donated a beautiful Centre piece of flowers and all the floral displays for the evening.

Not to mention the official launch of Zamthreads a new fundraising initiative from i4life - we will be posting more about this in the coming days, so keep an eye out!
