Finishing off our character biographies, Kevin Kelliher – Johnny in “Still Life”

Greystones native and a member of the Greystones players for a number of years. “Still Life” is his third play at the Whale Theatre. He is proud to be part of a cast of very talented actors. Johnny is often seen flirting and enjoying the moment, characterised a more carefree, immediate approach to relationships. His presence highlights the generational divide, while Laura and Alec are bound by social conventions and internal conflict, Johnny lives more in the present, led by the uncertainty of war. Though his role is small, he helps reinforce the play’s themes of fleeting connection, time and the different ways people respond to love and circumstance."

Next up is Kristian O’Neill - Bill in “Still Life”

This is Kristian’s first production with Greystones Players, and he is having a blast bringing the role of Bill to life. As one half of the boisterous soldier duo in Noel Coward’s Still Life, Bill—alongside his partner-in-crime, Johnnie—injects a dose of high spirits and grounded realism into the station refreshment room.

Next up is Katherine Fanning - Beryl Waters in “Still Life”

This is Katherine’s first production with the Greystones Players and she is incredibly excited to be playing the role of Beryl Waters in Noel Coward’s Still Life. Beryl is a young and enthusiast character who works in the railway station refreshment room, where the play is set, assisting Myrtle Bagot. Throughout the play, we see Beryl bring a playful element to the themes of romance and class throughout the play. Katherine is extremely honoured to be a part of this wonderful production, and is looking forward to portray such a fun role.
