IPSC Gorey

IPSC Gorey IPSC branch covering North Wexford Gorey, Courtown, Kilmuckridge and surrounding areas ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ We are run by our highly active and commmited volunteer members.

The IPSC was set up in late 2001 by a group of established Irish human rights and community activists, academics and journalists who were deeply concerned with the current situation in the Occupied Territories. In partnership with Palestinians now living in Ireland the IPSC was formed to provide a voice for Palestine in Ireland. We are an independent, non-party political organisation, run by volun

teers all committed to a just and sustainable peace in the Middle East. The IPSC is a member-based organisation, funded by our members annual fees, standing orders and donations. Activities
The IPSC campaigns for justice for the Palestinian people, through raising public awareness about the human rights abuses in the occupied territories, the violations of international law and the historical causes of the injustices to the Palestinians that lie at the heart of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. The IPSC lobbies the Irish government and the EU, campaigns on the streets and urges for a vigorous Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign similar to the one that played a part in ending Apartheid in South Africa. The IPSC also holds public talks with Israeli and Palestinian speakers and various cultural and fundraising events. Our activities include :

Organising public lectures, debates, discussion evenings, workshops and media appearances
Arranging speaking tours from academics and peace activists from Palestine/Israel
Raising awareness through film screenings
Organising boycott actions and pickets
Lobbying the Irish government and the EU
Lobbying the media
Supporting Palestinian refugees in Ireland
Arranging exchange visits between Palestine and Ireland
Educating transition year students about human rights abuses in Palestine
Supporting twinning efforts between Irish and Palestinian towns.

The IPSC has submitted a Communication to the International Criminal Court under Article 15 of the Rome Statute, concerning the alleged individual criminal responsibility of the Governor of the Central Bank under Article 25(3)(c) and Article 25(3)(d)(ii) of the Rome Statute.

The Communication provides information for the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court on the conduct of the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, Gabriel Makhlouf. It has been submitted that there is a reasonable basis to believe that the Governor and the Central Bank of Ireland may have contributed to, or otherwise aided and abetted, the commission of the crime of genocide by the State of Israel.

The ability of Israel to generate funds through the sale of state bonds has been key to aiding it in its military campaign, which has been recognised by Ireland, and several international bodies and experts, to constitute a genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Kite flying.
Such a simple and beautiful activity. Evoking feelings of freedom and childlike joy.
Footage here of our lovely kite flying event held on Sunday in Courtown followed by display of the heartbreaking blanket of remembrance.

A beautiful morning followed by feelings of devastation to hear of the Israeli militaryโ€™s announcement of a total ban on all kite flying in the Gaza Strip, with threats of a major air attack if this sick new rule is not adhered to.
When will this depravity end? This simply cannot continue.
The world is not angry enough. Free Palestine ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿช๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿช
Thanks to for the beautiful footage and and for your unwavering support and solidarity.
