The 11th edition of the Gorey night run last night. Over 1000 participants! It’s a fast field as it draws runners from distant lands. 62 runners finished sub 20 minutes; that’s very fast in my book!

I may not run as fast or as far as I once did, but I’m still running — and I still love it. The race kicked off at 7:30 pm at the town civic centre and had a fantastic community atmosphere. With a DJ playing music and snacks waiting at the finish line, it was a fun family-friendly event from start to finish.
