Tonight we welcome our All-Ireland Minor Champion; Aaron Oโ€™Sullivan, back to The Pike for a very special community celebration! ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

Join us from 6:30pm as we celebrate Aaron, his teammates, mentors and the incredible achievement of the Cork Minor panel.

A litter pick was carried out around the village this morning, along with some work on the drains.

We cleared away the weeds and removed as much of the built-up soil and debris as possible to help keep the drains clear and allow the water to flow freely.

A few more jobs ticked off. ๐Ÿงน๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒ’Solar Eclipse Safety Reminder!
Wednesday 12th August (6:00pm-8:00pm)

If you're planning to watch the eclipse, please do not look directly at the Sun, even during the eclipse. Doing so can cause permanent eye damage.

โŒNormal sunglasses won't protect your eyes.
โœ…You need ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses or a certified solar viewer.

A simple way to capture the eclipse safely is to turn your back to the Sun, switch your phone to selfie mode, and record the eclipse behind you, so you're not staring at the sun while filming.

Please share this with friends and family, especially anyone planning to watch the eclipse. Stay safe and enjoy the view!๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒš
